- To get the proper HTML coloring to show up in Rails files you need to go to Edit > Tag Library, then click on the HTML Folder at the top of the tree. Below turn on the checkbox for Rails RHTML, Rails ERB, and Ruby.
- Color Coding is broken on the Mac. It gives XML coloring rather than HTML coloring no matter if you complete suggestion #1 here or not.
- Do not add file extensions to the Edit > Preferences… > File Types / Editors > Open in code view list. This will cause the Split and Design views to stop working for these file types.
- If a .rb file is opened prior to opening a .rhtml file, the color coding for the .rhtml file goes away. To correct this (until I can find a solution) close all files, close DW, open DW, open the .rhtml file first.
- There have been reported auto-complete issues with Windows 7.
